Meet the Staff

Karen M. Belk, CEO, has an MBA from the University of North Alabama and over 25 years experience in physician relations and recruitment. She began her career with Humana Inc. in the Administrative Office of Humana Hospital Shoals, Muscle Shoals, AL then was promoted to the Humana Market Office, Huntsville, AL as the in-house Physician Recruiter for four hospitals in North Alabama. She continued her career as Vice President with J. D. Kirkland and Associates' Primary Care Division in Huntsville, AL working with Locum Tenens and Permanent Placements. Ms. Belk returned to Medical Center Shoals Hospital as the Director of Marketing/Physician Recruitment then, opened the Alabama office for Summit Physicians, Atlanta, GA to staff Locum Tenens and secure permanent placements throughout Alabama. She furthered her recruitment experience as a Senior Consultant with HPI, Inc., Atlanta, GA for 7 years before opening Belk & Associates, Inc. on May 24, 2004.  KBelk@BelkStaffing.com

Woodie D. Belk, Consultant, has over 27 years experience in the sales industry and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of North Alabama.

 

 

We are excited to announce that Lindsey Lawler joined our team February 1st!

 

Lindsey is committed to a high level of costumer service and looks forward to assisting the needs of our clients and physicians.

 

Her past experience includes the management of a high volume office and she looks forward to this new endeavor.

 

Lindsey has been married to Dustin for 13 yrs and have an 8yr old son named Brayson. She enjoys travelling and being with family. Outdoor activities are her favorite.
